'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' winner revealed: Ashish Sharma of 'Rangrasiya' fame clinches trophy
Finally, the seventh season of
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa comes to a closure. And the winner of this edition is Ashish
Sharma.
Beating prolific dancers like
Mouni Roy, Shakti Mohan and Karan Tacker, it wasRangrasiya actor Ashish Sharma
who lifted the trophy. With this, the show still maintained its stark stance of
the 'underdog' emerging as the real winner. If you notice, in each season of
the show, the stronger dancers are evicted whereas the underdogs get all the
mileage.
Similarly, after performing
consistently well throughout the season, it was Ashish's perseverance and hard
work that pulled him through. Plus, his huge popularity as Rudra on Rangrasiya
helped him garner some extra votes. Although Shakti or Mouni are definitely
better dancers than the actor, the popularity that Ashish enjoys courtesy his
soap opera, has catapulted him towards victory.
