I wouldn't recommend acting as a profession to my daughter: Keira Knightley
Keira Knightley has revealed
that she wouldn't recommend the field of acting to her daughter.
The Pirates of theCaribbean actress said that
she would advise her daughter to avoid the "heartbreaking rejection"
that comes with being an actor and instead opt for a career as a doctor or lawyer,
the Mirror reported.
She said that if she and her musician husband James Righton had a daughter she would want her to study for a more sensible career and would tell her to be a doctor or a lawyer.
“I should imagine that if she wanted to act, I wouldn’t have a choice but, no, I certainly wouldn’t recommend it,” said Knightley, “It can be completely heartbreaking for most people who do it, because the amount of rejection is enormous. And it doesn’t matter what kind of person you are, it’s impossible for that not to take a toll. Even if you’re successful, you still have to go through a s---load of rejection.”(Sources from http://www.hindustantimes.com/)
