JACQUELINE IN RAM LAKHAN REMAKE

After the success of Salman Khan starrer Kick, the Sri Lankan beauty, actress Jacqueline Fernandez has just got lucky and seems to be touching the sky. Reportedly, she has been roped in by filmmaker Karan Johar ( who loved her acting skills in Kick) for his home production Ram Lakhan. This movie is a remake of the blockbuster movie "Ram Lakhan".

It is learnt that Jacqueline will step into Dimple Kapadia's shoes in the remake to be directed by Rohit Shetty. Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh would play the role of Ram and Lakhan enacted by Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor, while the makers are in talk with Alia Bhatt to play the role of Radha, enacted by Madhuri Dixit. However, if the grapevine is correct, Amrita Singh might be playing the role of Rakhee in the re-make. The finalized cast will be out in sometime later next month.

Former Miss Sri Lanka Universe, Jacqueline Fernandez now has one million fans following her on the micro blogging site Twitter. The beauty queen has credited her 'Kick' co-star Salman Khan for having one million admirers on Twitter. The 29-year-old Sri Lankan beauty joined the micro-blogging site in 2009. "1 million finally on twitter!!! I owe this one to Salman Khan," she tweeted.
